6 Months Old
Half a year... 6 months... Marian is growing and changing so much everyday. She loves to explore and find new things to touch and chew on. She loves to smile and socialize and entertain anyone who will look her way. She is trying foods, drinking out of a straw and sitting up pretty well if you put her in the position. She is army crawling anywhere she can and loves the freedom this gives her, especially if it means going after one of the dogs. No teeth yet, but she's working on it. Her smiles, snuggles and baby love'n keep this Mommy and her Daddy very happy!

5 Months Old
5 months old... where has the time gone? Marian has gone from a stationary baby to a semi mobile one and is LOVING it! She is rolling, getting up on hands and knees, pushing with her feet, kicking, really anything that she can to move. She continues to be a very happy little girl and is content most of the time. Last week at her check up she was 16lb 3oz and 26in. These give a little bit of an idea of her personality, although some of these faces she pulled out special for the pictures and I haven't seen them since. She was cracking me and Leah up while I was taking them!
Onyx takes his job as protector and companion very seriously.

The House
At long last I am finally posting about our house! At the end of October Josh and I bought a fixer-upper on the eastern plains. We fell in love with the open spaces, the trees, the character and the potential. The original part of the house was built in 1909 with a couple additions added at some point. The house needs a lot of work, but that is what we were looking for. Some people think we are crazy, but I guess that this only confirms the truth I've suspected for a while. = ) We are so thankful for this house, even in the midst of its need and look forward to what God would have us do with it. With a little lot of elbow grease and love we are looking forward to what it will become. We are SO thankful for the many people who have offered their time and energy to help us! We could not do it without all the willing hands! I unfortunately didn't get a picture of everyone that has helped so far,
but know that you all are not forgotten!
So without further ado here is the work that has been done on the outside so far...
Taking a break for dinner and a game of Womp'um.
